Todd Swisher to run for Lynchburg Clerk’s office

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) — Todd Swisher has announced in a press release Monday that he will run for Lynchburg Clerk of Circuit Court in the upcoming election in November.

Swisher served 27 years with the Lynchburg Police Department, retiring as Deputy Chief in 2018. A Lynchburg native and resident for 43 years, he serves on several advisory and civic boards, including the Salvation Army, the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg, the Optimist Club of Lynchburg, and the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program, the release stated.
